I have to laugh, Brent. My wife was telling me about this neat place that her photography class from Sacramento City College, visited. A place called Cerro Gordo! I was stunded. I said, "you guys went to Cerro Cordo?" I told her that I have been watching Ghost Town Living for about 3 years. LOL! She brought back some awesome pictures...But after 3 years I have seen all the pictures through your lenses. Thank you Brent and all your friends for making this world a better place. All of you are appreciated. We are both 77 years old.

I listened to your book on Audible a couple of weeks ago on my way back from a weekend camping and hiking in Tennessee. I soaked up all 7 and half hours of it during the 14 hour drive. Although I have followed your channel since the beginning, I felt the book kind of fill in all the blanks about the history of this great mining town. Most of all what I took away from the book is your determination to make things happen when most would fold. As I head out end the week on new personal adventure, I'll not only listen to your book again, but also embrace the unknown as the adventure unfolds. Thank you for the inspiration to not be afraid of the unknow.

Just be careful out there, people still fall in old abandoned mine shafts too in old mining towns. Also water could contain lead and different metals. I live in an old mining town. Perhaps I prefer peace of mind, but honestly it's ancestrial history there. Keep that in tac* for good vibes. ❤ get tetnus shot. 😅

Ive been watching on and off from the beginning. I remember opening one day and our man was busted up. The hotel had just burned. His 1st major bump?? His openness for the video was total. I saw the hotel 15? Years ago as a side trip from looking for the terminus of CCR. I grew up not far from mound house so followed the line in trips over the years.seeing Cerro Gordo was a lucky trip. The hotel gave the place a big tie in to classic mi ing town buildings. It was the only really substantial building there that had wild west saloon/ hotel personna.tragic to loose but the tale of rebuilding great. Some time i need to go there again

I have followed you for a long time. When I saw this video when it first came out I preordered your audio book. I just now remembered about it and saw it has been available since march. I went to go download it so I could start listening to it. I just spent almost an hour trying to figure out how to download and listen to it and got frustrated because it looks like all I can do is to listen to on fn amazon. I wanted a download. If I went to walmart and bought a book it would be in my hand. I bought an audio book for $15 and can't download in 2024?????? I'm sorry but my book it's a wasted $15. Should be, Paid for on pre-order, product released, direct download link provided by platform selling product, download what was paid for, listen to and enjoy, all in 1 minute.
